Meet the crew
- Andrea

Hey, my name is Andrea and I am from Toronto, Canada. I found myself coming on tour with CGA for so many different reasons. I wanted to learn more about sustainable living, I wanted to have a unique and exciting experience, and I also wanted to see more of the country. I am having a blast on tour so far and cannot wait for the rest of this grand adventure to unfold. I love music, and always make a point to close my eyes in pictures. See you at a Whole Foods near you!

There’s a tiny grocery store in Santa Cruz, California called the Food Bin. It has narrow aisles packed to the ceiling with natural products. I’ll never forget the first time I walked through their door at the age of 19. I’d always been an outdoorsy guy interested in the environment. But when I saw all the organic, healthy products on the shelves, I felt an immediate, deep recognition. I wanted to be part of this movement! The Food Bin became the only place I wanted to shop. Years later, when my friend Stefan Schachter told me he was starting an organic yerba mate company, I quit my job teaching high school English in Washington state and relocated to Ashland, Oregon so I could help him out. Seven years later, EcoTeas is a national brand committed to organic agriculutre, fair trade, and reforestation. It’s been a wild ride full of lessons and successes. This spring I decided to pack my bags once again and join the CGA tour. When I’m not preaching the merits of conscious commerce, I spend my time reading, spending time in nature, and writing poetry. It’s a beautiful world and I love it here.

Growing up in the small town of Williams Oregon I have always appreciated simplicity, serenity, and a strong local flavor. At the same time this small town left me bubbling to the brim with questions about people, places, and ideas. This pondering brought me to sunny Venice Beach. Now my mission of understanding and exploration has taken me to the open road. I am here to observe the many different resources this country has to offer and see how well they are being utilized on a local level. I want to see how many people are as conscious about what they eat as what they wear. I am here to support those who do analyze what it takes to produce a sustainable product from start to finish. Representing the necessary change, the merging of corporation and grass roots, and doing so for the sake of all living creatures, and elements on a universal level has become my way of life.

Homegrown on consumerism, I seek to "be the change I want to see in the world". The CGA tour provides a vehicle to inspire others to do the same.
Coming from a Healing Arts background, I am now applying what I have learned to a larger perspective. Healing the earth and our disposable society one conversation at a time.
It's all the little things that add up, what we buy, what we drive, how we eat, the electricity we use, how we treat each other, that help to create the world we live in. Let us live more consciously.
I am grateful for this opportunity to grow and share what I love. I am a Demo Diva.

Born on the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada, I have come to love those things rich in spirit, music, poetry and other foods pure. We are finding ourselves awakened in a place that is both earth and heaven, consciousness knowing itself as loving action, blooming flowers opening and secreting the pollen winged creatures transport.
I believe in human being accross countries and cities with natural cleaning and sustainable products, playing and laying seeds in the sticky love jam on holy toast, warm pan integral spirals coming together, vibrating a part, giving thanks for the weather, and feeding the heart.
The Magic Bus' destination is the path.
